Bandung~

Any kind of ointments should be prohibited from entering the aircraft, don't you think? The smell remind of the time when I was dying of influenza or things like that. Anyways, I just got back from Bandung!

You might read from some other blogspot saying that Bandung tu sejuk lah apa lah no no takkk Bandung tak sejuk, it's only sejuk kat Tangkuban Parahu and at night, when it's rainy seasons but tak lah sejuk sangat. Lets just say that Bandung is not hella hot like KL or Brunei but it's not that cold either.

First day, Tangkuban Parahu. Naik to that place is like, the same macam route to Cameron Highland jalan belok-belok bisa pening but if you dah sampai memang sejuk, but not sampai tahap sejuk giler hohoho. If you're a chemist student like me maybe you can handle the strong sulphur scent but if you're not.. I wouldn't recommend you to go there la, dah lah masuk kena charge and then dah on top many people will come to you and 'force' you to but their stuff.. All you need to do is say 'Terima kasih, sudah beli' or ignore. If nak rugi, pergi beli. Dah puas tengok the view, we went down there's a lot of ladang teh or you say tea plantation, so my family went in, parking tepi jalan terus redah masuk memang best if you nak play hide and seek ahahaha and theeeen, we went to the ladang strawberry.

Kalau nak makan kat Bandung ni banyak je tempat makan if you dare makan kat tepi jalan pun boleh but if you're looking for a proper place go to:
  •  Karamba or Simpang Raya
  • Stone cafe pun okay but it's kinda pricey still I would recommend that place because of the live band yang singer nya memang suara sedap gila kalah Anuar Zain. If you nak pergi there, pergi at night and because its macam atas bukit you can see the whole Bandung and the concept is open air, sejoooook sampai 22 degree celsius and guess what, bintang kat langit pun ada despite of the pollution haha
  • KFC kat Bandung ni satu set with nasi during lunch time
  • Floating Market, Lembang entry kena bayar

Pasar baru haha *sarcastic laugh* is a shopping heaven if:
  • you can deal with cigarette smokes. From my observation most of Bandung people are smokers. Dalam building pun they smoke
  • you're not suffering from asthma because the smell from the food court is kinda pedas it'll make you cough a lot plus the above
  • you're not claustrophobic. I'm claustrophobic but not critical boleh tahan lah. Last time I went to Pasar Baru, few hours later I couldn't breath properly, pening, weak and muntah and desperate for fresh air. Dah nak keluar tak dapat because that place is too packed got lost and I almost blacked out. Dah jumpa main entrance, terus tidur in the middle of the kedai no shame
Paris Van Java cool place, macam Johor Premium Outlet but ada brands you couldn't find at KL. Not worth going if you're a cheap ass person like me hehe

Toko Tiga is okaaaaay.. I mean, jeans pun macam mahal jugak or is it because I couldn't adapt with the currency cis

Trans studio is worth going if you're on a vacation with your family and tak payah pergi if pergi Bandung sebab nak shopping okay

Rumah Mode is a nice place to shop for cheap branded stuff too~ when I went there kesian kaum lelaki semua tunggu kat luar hohoho bought myself 2 shirts there 200+ ribu rupiah

Kartika Sari my mom bought the brownies kukusm okaylah not too sweet not too yummy for my taste heheh but I like the rainbow kukus only cons is that these cakes/brownies only lasts for 3 days

No I didn't go to Kawah Putih because 6 days is not enough for hard core shopping at Bandung.

Hotels:

Andelir Hotel- I got the room with 2 single beds with tv and really cosy overall nice hotel, price pun tak mahal sangat it's just takde kedai yang berdekatan to that hotel so I stayed there for one night

Favehotel Premier Cihampelas- price is affordable, depan hotel ada kedai murah-murah but kedai at Bandung tutup around 9-10 pm. We had two rooms. One room with 2 single beds, one with king sized bed and rent for 4 nights RM 1700+ if I'm not mistaken so its okay lah

Our driver is really nice and polite his name is Yudi and service pun bagus :) here's the contact:

Central Market & Junk Book Store KL

I watched 'Cerita Kita' starring Yana Samsuddin and my love tapi dia dah bertunang patah hati aku siot Pekin Ibrahim and dalam cerita tu Ika (Yana Samsuddin) work kat this amazing book store so I wuz like eh nak pergi lah macam beeeest je. Search punya search the location is kat Junk Book Strore yeehaaa! So harini I have to wake up early because on Saturday, Junk Book Store is close at 2pm and Sunday its not on business.  We parked at Pasar Seni or better known as the Central Market. It was a struggle to find the store.. My dad paksa use the GPS and even called the store about the location. I suck at explaining or giving direction so just check this link out: http://www.junkbookstore.com/index.html   Then.. there it is... behind that wooden door... is a magical place. I whispered 'open sesame', and perghhh! the scent of old, rotting books blew me away    ʘ‿ʘ I wish I can purchase all the books oh mai mai and I wish I can own that freaking book store. Masuk je, ...

When I was a kid..

How cliche could that title be? ha-ha. So few month ago I read the book 'When I was a kid' by Boey, and also the second book they are cool and I can relate to some of the experiences. Cute doodles too! Me being all 'oh I should do the same too' here it goes, it might not be interesting but who caressss 1. When I was a kid I used to plan out my own haunted house, asked my dad to bring home shit loads of boxes. It doesn't work.  2. After a long ride from Bandar to Tutong, I always tipu-tipu tidur so that my dad would carry me to my bed.. hate it when my parents wake me up, and I like long rides especially at night 3. I used to imagine what it would felt like to camp outside, and Sabah was the first time I actually managed to accomplish it and it was shit. I literally drowned in my own sweat ew   4. I used to 'shuffle'. It was the biggest thing at that time; I thought I was good at it ended up I look like a retard. This was my jam  http://www.youtube.co...

Make-up

Let's be frank, the only place we can find drugstore make up in Brunei is Guardian. Maybe there's Hua Ho or Soon Lee or other supermarket, yes that does sound quite- sad. I can't really afford Body Shop or Etude House or The Face Shop make up products because I am a broke 18 years old student and I have other things to buy such as food and fancy notebooks that too sayang to use. I am so sick hearing boys complaining things like "Why do girls wear make up?" Personally, I wear make up so I won't look pale, and I feel confident actually, when I wear make up. It's a psychology thing. I am so glad my boyfriend is not one of those why-do-girls-wear-makeup kind of guy. But I am thrilled to show the girly side of me! I am going to show you my make up products that I use when ever I go out.
