How did I study..?

Hello everyone! It has been a looooong time since the last time I posted something here- basically because I am not bothered and no inspiration to write anything hehe

So I know I am a wee late for this kind of post, but personally, I am that kind of person who likes to search or know how other people actually aced their exam papers. But how we study is different to one another, right? Now let's get to how I studied for my exams

1. Music?
You see, some people listen to songs when they belajar but as for me I listened to movie soundtracks ie Pirates of the Caribbean y'all because ada lyric atu macam distracting pulang so I think soundtracks is better it made me feel very motivated and that study session just went from vapid-being to an epic adventure bahaha

2. The Location
I studied everywhere in the house eg my room, living room, TV room, and the terikah room (panas sia) because being stuck in one room is just, buriiiing berabissss.

Sometimes, few hours before sitting for the exam I'd go to the beach and chill + brainstorm in the car. It's better to be alone than aga ke school early because I did not want to feel panicky when my friends ask me questionssss and that I did not study about it

(To habiskan usin) and since I got my driving license already, I went jalan-jalan during my study leave and went to the public library and cafes. So like, you want other people to see you studying hence the motivation datang tia kirakan mau setaie lah tu ahaii

3. When things get too stressful...
I exercised. I went jogging. Serious. Inda ku kelakar.  T hose who knows me should know damn well that I never exercise. Yet I did. And it felt great. But when I felt too lazy to go out I'd do 10-20 minutes of rope jumping. It felt refreshing you know lol

4. Practice
Doesn't matter if you're a science stream or art stream students (I call myself a social science/humanities student its cooler that way) you need to practice your past papers, and time yourself.

As an essay student practicing on my time management was crucial. For example ah, Economics ada two sections- data response and essays. What I did was read the questions and decide which one is easier to complete. Data response should only take you around 15-20 minutes and whether you're done or not, LEAVE IT and START structuring your essay like, your introduction, isi, argument kalau ada and conclusion. Essay students, remember this!!! Conclusion is very very verrryyy important. Siap the essay or not buat tia the conclusion when you only have 5 minutes left. Might save your asses

Story time- For my AS and A2 Economics paper I made a HUGE mistake.. I did not complete my AS data response and what's worse was that I did not do my A2 data response at all. HOWEVERRR, ada however pls, I compensate myself and focused on my essays. I think that's what saved my life

5. What if you can't concentrate...
Chill.. Relax.. Listen to sad, depressing songs about failed love life when my love life is doing just fine... Call your boyfriend and have a nervous breakdown and cry your eyes out aiyah bida but yes. it happened the night before our History papers.

Overall.. well yeah. Thats how I studied for my A Levels. I never studied so hard til 3am before, until A Levels, endless coffee drinking and nervous breakdowns... I made it!

CCBc masa AS. Not sure about A2 but overall- BBDb. That's my result! Sociology is the D. But I'm happy because I do not remember the last time I got good results!!!!! (My previous school nada serious exams so... cincai only)

ciao sorry eh buring hahaha

Central Market & Junk Book Store KL

I watched 'Cerita Kita' starring Yana Samsuddin and my love tapi dia dah bertunang patah hati aku siot Pekin Ibrahim and dalam cerita tu Ika (Yana Samsuddin) work kat this amazing book store so I wuz like eh nak pergi lah macam beeeest je. Search punya search the location is kat Junk Book Strore yeehaaa! So harini I have to wake up early because on Saturday, Junk Book Store is close at 2pm and Sunday its not on business.  We parked at Pasar Seni or better known as the Central Market. It was a struggle to find the store.. My dad paksa use the GPS and even called the store about the location. I suck at explaining or giving direction so just check this link out: http://www.junkbookstore.com/index.html   Then.. there it is... behind that wooden door... is a magical place. I whispered 'open sesame', and perghhh! the scent of old, rotting books blew me away    ʘ‿ʘ I wish I can purchase all the books oh mai mai and I wish I can own that freaking book store. Masuk je, ...

When I was a kid..

How cliche could that title be? ha-ha. So few month ago I read the book 'When I was a kid' by Boey, and also the second book they are cool and I can relate to some of the experiences. Cute doodles too! Me being all 'oh I should do the same too' here it goes, it might not be interesting but who caressss 1. When I was a kid I used to plan out my own haunted house, asked my dad to bring home shit loads of boxes. It doesn't work.  2. After a long ride from Bandar to Tutong, I always tipu-tipu tidur so that my dad would carry me to my bed.. hate it when my parents wake me up, and I like long rides especially at night 3. I used to imagine what it would felt like to camp outside, and Sabah was the first time I actually managed to accomplish it and it was shit. I literally drowned in my own sweat ew   4. I used to 'shuffle'. It was the biggest thing at that time; I thought I was good at it ended up I look like a retard. This was my jam  http://www.youtube.co...

Make-up

Let's be frank, the only place we can find drugstore make up in Brunei is Guardian. Maybe there's Hua Ho or Soon Lee or other supermarket, yes that does sound quite- sad. I can't really afford Body Shop or Etude House or The Face Shop make up products because I am a broke 18 years old student and I have other things to buy such as food and fancy notebooks that too sayang to use. I am so sick hearing boys complaining things like "Why do girls wear make up?" Personally, I wear make up so I won't look pale, and I feel confident actually, when I wear make up. It's a psychology thing. I am so glad my boyfriend is not one of those why-do-girls-wear-makeup kind of guy. But I am thrilled to show the girly side of me! I am going to show you my make up products that I use when ever I go out.
